We would not have the dog today had it not been for Alpha-Dog! Earl has guided us from day one with our Goldendoodle-and we could not be happier! We have an incredibly well behaved six month old dog that will sit, stay, roll over, drop a ball and shake. The kids (ages 7 and 9) can very comfortably take him for a walk. I feel so much more confident with our dog thanks to all that Earl taught us. If any questions or concerns come up--he is just a phone call away! . I cannot say enough good things about Earl and all we have learned. Thank you Alpha-Dog!!!

We contacted Alpha-Dog some time ago. As the "Grandparents" of a Hyper Schnauzer and his owner our daughter who is a special young lady , Ginger, we were at a loss to know how to begin to attack our Budderball's barking and acting like the typical terrible two year old. I can say I have never bought a dress, piece of furniture nor pair of shoes that gave me so much "BANG" for our "BUCKS". While as a grandparent who spoils the grandchildren and the granddog, Earl put up with a lot of slack from me. We really wish he lived in our neighborhood, We cannot give him enough Kudos for such a job well done. More than anything we are greatful for the peace of mind that we have whenever we go away. Ginger, Floyd nor I would even consider leaving our precious puppy with anyone except Earl at Alpha-Dog. Whenever my husband had serious heart problems and was hospitalized for about 40 days. Mr. Preeper came to pick up our dog, wore a "cap" because that is always what Floyd wears to walk Budder Ball, and he even installed a baby gate across our deck (Did this on his own time and because he is so kind) for Ginger and Me so that BudderBall could run outside while we were in and out from the Hospital. Never in Budderball's life will anyone, including even the Vet's in our area, have the privilege of keeping our precious pup. Should Alpha-Dog not have room for him, then his family goes no where until there is space available. Safety, kindness and protection are major issues that can be depended on with Alpha-Dog. "I have to put in here that Ginger always likes for Earls wife to be home whenever she drops BudderBall off because she also talks to him and welcomes him with kindness, which is such a plus in Gingers's mind. I will always say to Earl, "don't forget to kiss him" whenever I make arrangements for him to be boarded there, and everytime whenever I hang up the phone, Ginger will always say, if Earl's wife is home, she'll kiss him. If anyone really, really loves their animal, there is no place like Alpha-Dog for him to stay. It really is like the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm! A room with a view!! Thanks a million Earl.
We are so pleased with Earl’s training! We are more confident and capable owners of Sammy. Sammy was adopted as a 3 year old with a lot of unknown baggage. He was fearful, aggressive, and a biter. We went through so many trainers until a neighbor recommended Earl. When Earl met Sammy, it took about 30 seconds before Sammy calmed down so that Earl was able to handle him. Earl taught us how to be better “parents” of Sammy. Each session brought us closer to realizing that we were part of the problem with handling Sammy. Earl taught us techniques to better handle Sammy. Sammy so looks forward to Earl’s visits. He looks up to Earl as we do. Earl had so much patience with us. He had a calming effect on Sammy as well as us. Earl even contacted our veterinarian so that Sammy would be able to get his check-ups without us being afraid of his behavior. We are so thankful for Earl!

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience with Alpha-Dog! My boyfriend and I are the loving owners of a little Maltese-Poodle mix and a large Doberman-Rottweiler-Pit-bull mix. The house was a little chaotic, but manageable. Then, in December 2011, a sweet little black Labrador-Pit-bull mix puppy was abandoned in our driveway and we got an unexpected addition to the household! With three dogs, two of them being large breeds, we knew we needed some professional help to keep all our lives happy and stress-free. I also have a connective-tissue disease that makes walking with an untrained dog very painful on my arms and hands, and I wanted to be able to go for walks with my rescued puppy. That’s when we called Earl at Alpha-Dog!
Earl always responded so quickly and I liked him before we even met! My boyfriend and I are students at Clemson U and Earl was always willing to work with our respective schedules and our financial situations. We loved our results and learning so much that we hope to arrange more lessons as our classes and finances allow. The training itself was astounding, to say the least. Not only was Earl patient and incredibly knowledgeable, but he made the training simple. Once we adopted the Alpha-Dog techniques, our dogs learned each new command faster than we ever could have believed. Yes, the training Earl has taught us is invaluable and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. But more importantly, Alpha-Dog training has given me so much more respect for the learning capacity of our dogs. I would not have described all our dogs as having above-average intelligence before the training. Now, I am quite positive that they’re geniuses and I’m the silly one when I can’t express what I’m asking of them! The respect for our dogs’ intelligence and their willingness to please when they understand what is wanted of them has changed my relationship with all of the dogs. I didn’t think this was possible, but I love them more than ever now that I have a better understanding of how to communicate with them. Alpha-Dog training is not about training your dog(s) – it is about teaching YOU to train your dogs. The strengthened relationship and happier household that we have gotten because of Alpha-Dog is literally priceless and I would recommend Earl and Alpha-Dog training to anyone who loves their pooch!
Thank you for truly changing our lives (for the better!) Keeli, Klaehn, Dexter (Maltipoo), Malli (Doberman mix), and Bacchus (Pit-Lab mix)

A STORY ABOUT E-MAILS
A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them. After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road.
It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it, he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side. When he was close enough he called out, “Excuse me, where are we?” “This is Heaven Sir,” the man answered. “Wow! Would you happen to have some water?” asked the traveler. “Of course, Sir. Come right in and I'll have some ice water brought right up.” The man gestured and the gate began to open. “Can my friend,” gesturing toward his dog, “come in, too?” the traveler asked.
“I'm sorry Sir, but we don't accept dogs.”
The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog. After another long walk and at the top of another long hill he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence.
As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside leaning against a tree and reading a book....
“Excuse me!” he called to the man. “Do you have any water?” “Yeah sure, there's a pump over there, come on in.” “How about my friend here?” the traveler gestured to the dog. There should be a bowl by the pump,” said the man. They went through the gate and sure enough there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself then he gave some to the dog. When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.
What do you call this place?” the traveler asked. “This is Heaven,” was the answer. “Well, that's confusing,” the traveler said. “The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.”
“Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell.”
“Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?”asked the traveler.
“No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind.”
Soooo. Now you see, sometimes we wonder why friends keep forwarding stuff to us without writing a word. Maybe this will explain it. When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do? You forward emails. When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep contact, you forward jokes. When you have something to say, but don't know what, and don't know how.... you forward stuff.
A “forward” lets you know that you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for.
So, next time you get a “forward”, don't think that you've been sent just another forwarded joke, but that you've been thought of today and your friend on the other end of your computer wanted to send you a smile.
You are welcome at my water bowl anytime!!
